This Privacy Policy explains how Flag for Heroes (“we,” “us”) collects and uses information on flagforheroes.com. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to this policy and our Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
When you pre-order or join the Never Forget Club, we collect:
- Name, email, phone, and shipping address
- Order details (flag, add-ons, club enrollment)
- Payment status and last-four / card brand from Stripe — we do not see or store your full card number
- Campaign and traffic data (UTM tags, click IDs such as gclid, referring site)
- Device and usage data (pages viewed, approximate location from IP) if Google Analytics 4 is enabled
2. How we use it
- Fulfill and ship your pre-order
- Send order, tracking, and club emails
- Charge optional upsells and the annual club (if you joined) through Stripe
- Prevent fraud and fix site problems
- Measure ads and landing-page performance (GA4 attribution)
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Payments (Stripe)
Card data is collected and processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe’s use of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy. We receive a customer and payment-method token so we can complete your order, one-click add-ons, and (if enrolled) the Never Forget Club.
4. Analytics and cookies
If Google Analytics 4 is configured, it may set cookies and record page views, checkout events, and purchases, including campaign source/medium so we can attribute orders. You can block analytics cookies in your browser. First-touch campaign tags may be stored in your browser (local storage) so attribution survives the checkout flow.
5. How long we keep it
Order and shipping records are kept as long as needed to fulfill, handle support, and meet tax or legal duties. Stripe keeps payment records under its own retention rules. You can cancel the Never Forget Club at any time at flagforheroes.com/manage/.
6. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Stripe (payments and subscriptions)
- Shipping carriers (name, address, phone)
- Google Analytics, if enabled (usage and conversion data)
- Authorities when required by law
7. Your choices
- Uncheck the Never Forget Club at checkout, or cancel later on the manage page
- Email support@flagforheroes.com to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold (we may keep records we are required to keep)
- Use browser controls to limit cookies
Depending on your state (including California and similar U.S. state laws), you may have rights to know, delete, or correct personal information. Contact us to exercise them. We will not discriminate against you for doing so.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Security
We use HTTPS and Stripe for card processing. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use means you accept the update.
